The Bay Area Estate Planning Council

Is a not-for-profit interdisciplinary organization of professionals involved in estate planning. The council was created to empower local communities by providing educational programs, networking events, and online resources. By providing professionals with an inclusive council to share ideas and expand their knowledge on the industry. Our council members include Estate and Taxation Attorneys, Certified Public Accountants, Trust Company Officers, Chartered Life Underwriters, Certified Financial Planners, Charitable Advisors and other specialists.​

Our Mission 

  • To provide professionals with an inclusive environment where ideas, expertise, and best practices can be shared and cultivated.

  • Provide community events and outreach programs where individuals can ask questions and receive impartial education on industry leading topics.

Our Primary Goals 

  • To create a better understanding of the relationship between estate planning and wealth planning specialists from different areas of expertise, and to foster an environment of collaboration between them.

  • To educate our members about estate and wealth planning. 

  • To encourage the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct.

  • To educate our community on the importance of estate and wealth planning.

Our External Goals 

  • Increase the recognition of the BAEPC as innovators and leaders in the estate planning community so that we become the definitive professional organization for estate planning expertise and networking.

Our Internal Goals 

  • Strengthen engagement by becoming a robust platform for member and community use. 

  • Deepen the purpose of connections within BAEPC by improving collaboration and promoting effective feedback by and among members. This includes a focus on the quality around educational and networking programs.
